I spent twelve years building brand identities. 1,200+ brands across 40+ countries. Logos, visual systems, brand strategies for companies worldwide. That work taught me something most developers don't have: how a business actually thinks, communicates, and operates at the human level.
In 2023, I started building with AI seriously. Not just using tools. Building systems. Custom LLM-powered pipelines, automation agents, prompt architectures, and Codex-assisted workflows designed to run in production. Most people building with AI have never shipped a brand. Most people shipping brands have never built with AI. I do both.
The systems I build understand brand voice because I understand brand. They solve operational problems because I understand how businesses actually run. That is the difference between AI that sounds right and AI that actually works.

João Queirós is an AI automation consultant and founder of JQ AI SYSTEMS in Porto, Portugal. A brand strategist with 12+ years shaping identities for 1,200+ companies across 40+ countries, he now designs and builds model-flexible AI systems: automation pipelines, multi-agent architectures, prompt engineering frameworks, and hands-on setup using the OpenAI stack, including Codex and ChatGPT/GPT models, plus Claude, Gemini, and open-source LLMs when appropriate. Backed by 10 Anthropic certifications.
He works entirely remotely with companies and startups worldwide, and is set up for clients in the United States in particular: working hours that overlap US Eastern and Pacific time, asynchronous delivery around your schedule, and full handover documentation. Being based in Porto, Portugal is not a constraint on US or international projects.
