Assessment.

Show me one business problem that wastes time or loses opportunities. I will research the best-fit AI or non-AI solution and give you a clear plan.

At a glance

What is AI Problem-to-Solution Assessment?

AI Problem-to-Solution Assessment is a fixed-scope paid diagnosis for one business workflow that wastes time, creates delays, or loses opportunities. In a 60-minute discovery interview, I map how the work happens now, identify the real constraint, and collect the evidence needed to compare realistic options. I then research up to three paths: an off-the-shelf AI tool, a connected or custom workflow, and a simpler process change when software is not the best answer. Every option is checked against official pricing, integration, privacy, security, permission, maintenance, and limitation information. Within five business days, you receive a concise decision brief with one recommendation, a 30-day test plan, a success metric, and a 45-minute review call. No accounts are connected, no code is written, and no implementation is included. Best fit: service businesses with two to twenty people and one repeated problem worth solving. Launch price: $750 (€650) for the first three paid assessments, then $1,035 (€900).

What's included

Every engagement ships with.

  • 60-minute workflow discovery

We follow one repeated problem from trigger to final review, using a redacted real example where possible. The call is recorded only with explicit consent.

  • Current-process map

A clear view of the steps, tools, handoffs, owner, delays, rework, and missing evidence behind the problem.

  • Up to three researched options

An off-the-shelf tool, a connected or custom workflow, and a simpler process change are considered where each path is viable.

  • Decision comparison

Each option is compared on price, setup, integrations, permissions, privacy, maintenance, limitations, reversibility, and client effort.

  • One recommendation + 30-day test

You receive one proportionate recommendation, the assumptions behind it, a test plan, an owner, and a measurable success criterion.

  • Decision brief + review call

A concise report delivered within five business days, followed by a 45-minute review call to choose DIY, setup, a custom build, or no change.

Fit Check

Is this service right for you?

Both columns matter. Read them before booking.

This fits if…

  • You run a two-to-twenty-person service business, agency, studio, consultancy, or small B2B team.
  • One repeated workflow wastes time, creates delays, or causes opportunities to slip.
  • You can share a redacted example and a realistic baseline, or you are willing to measure one.
  • You want an evidence-led recommendation before paying for software or custom development.

This is not for you if…

  • You need a company-wide review of several departments and workflows (choose AI Consulting & Roadmapping).
  • You already know the exact tool you want and only need it installed (choose AI Stack Setup & Enablement).
  • You want guaranteed savings, revenue, or ROI before a baseline has been measured.
  • The problem requires legal, medical, financial, cybersecurity, or compliance advice without a qualified specialist involved.
Process

How it actually runs.

01
Free fit call
A 30-minute call confirms that the problem is bounded, useful to assess, and within scope. No tool research is included at this stage.
02
Paid discovery
After scope approval, we run a 60-minute workflow interview and review one redacted example, current tools, constraints, and the desired outcome.
03
Research + verify
I compare up to three realistic paths and verify vendor pricing, integrations, permissions, privacy, security, maintenance, and limitations on official sources.
04
Decision brief
Within five business days, you receive the workflow map, comparison, recommendation, 30-day test, metric, owner, assumptions, and sources.
05
Review + choose
A 45-minute call answers questions and locks the next step: do it yourself, book a tool setup sprint, commission a custom build, or make no change.

FAQ

Before you book.

What does the AI Problem-to-Solution Assessment cost?
The launch price is $750 (€650) for the first three paid clients. The standard price after those pilots is $1,035 (€900). The price covers one workflow, one 60-minute discovery interview, the research and decision brief, and one 45-minute review call.
How is this different from the free consultation?
The free 30-minute call checks fit and defines the boundary of the problem. It does not include tool research or recommendations. The paid assessment includes the workflow interview, evidence review, official-source research, comparison, written report, 30-day test plan, and review call.
What kinds of problems can I bring?
Good examples include slow client acquisition and follow-up, recurring research or reporting, repeated content production, messy website or brand handoffs, meeting notes that never become actions, or information copied between email, documents, spreadsheets, and other tools.
What happens if I want you to implement the recommendation?
Implementation is a separate fixed-price engagement. An off-the-shelf tool can move into an AI Tool Setup Sprint from $1,035 (€900). A connected or custom workflow can move into a build from $2,760 (€2,400). You can also implement the report yourself or choose not to proceed. The assessment fee is not automatically credited toward implementation.
How is this different from AI Consulting & Roadmapping?
This assessment covers one bounded problem and is delivered within five business days. AI Consulting & Roadmapping covers several workflows, interviews multiple people, and produces a phased company-wide plan over two to four weeks. Choose the assessment when one problem is already visible. Choose consulting when the business needs help deciding where to start across the operation.
Will you guarantee a specific number of hours or amount of revenue?
No. The report separates verified facts from estimates, records assumptions, and defines how the result will be measured. I will not promise savings or revenue before a baseline exists. A recommendation to measure first or make no change is a valid outcome.
