1. Cowork Is Now Part of Claude
Anthropic's merge removes the mental split between asking a question and assigning a task. A conversation can move from research into a Cowork-style workflow without opening a separate product. The interface asks before taking consequential actions by default, and users can adjust how often Claude checks in.
That continuity is useful for work that changes shape: research a supplier, build a comparison, create a deck, and prepare a draft email. It also creates a longer permission chain. A connector that is harmless for reading a calendar may become risky when the same session can send messages or update records.

- Enable only the connector needed for the current workflow.
- Use the lowest-permission account that can complete the test.
- Separate read, draft, and execute phases.

- Record what the agent read, proposed, changed, and failed to change.
2. Claude for Small Business Packages Repeatable Work
Anthropic's official launch describes 43 workflows and 27 new integrations, not 44 workflows. The library covers recurring tasks across sales, marketing, operations, finance, customer support, and administration. The useful idea is not the number; it is starting from a bounded workflow with an expected output instead of a vague instruction to "run the business."
The Zapier connection extends that idea to more than 9,000 apps. Zapier retains the application credentials, while Claude receives controlled access through the connector. Start with one low-risk workflow
A sensible first pilot is a weekly customer-feedback brief. Give Claude read access to an approved folder or inbox label, ask it to group themes and cite the source items, then have a person approve the report. Do not begin with invoices, bulk outreach, refunds, payroll, or record deletion.
3. Docs, Slides, and Design Turn Conversation Into Deliverables
Claude Docs and Claude Slides create editable artifacts inside the product, while Claude Design supports visual output in ordinary conversations. Rob's demonstration focuses on document generation, layout, and the ability to continue refining an artifact through chat.
The production test is not whether Claude can make a polished first draft. Check whether the file remains editable, the claims link to evidence, charts preserve their underlying data, brand rules survive revision, and exported files open correctly in the software your team already uses.

4. Claude Code Projects Adds a Coordinator for Parallel Sessions
The redesigned Projects experience can break a larger objective into scoped cloud sessions, each with its own branch. The coordinator tracks the work and gives the user one place to review progress. This can reduce the overhead of manually opening many coding sessions.
It does not remove engineering controls. Parallel branches can still collide in shared databases, ports, queues, credentials, or external services. Anthropic also warns that coordinated work may consume usage limits faster. Define acceptance criteria, isolate external state, require tests and visual proof, and review the combined diff before merging.
5. ChatGPT Can Work Through a Built-In Browser
ChatGPT's desktop app now includes a browser with its own history, cookies, passwords, autofill, and extension support, subject to plan and workspace settings. When the job depends on an existing Chrome profile, signed-in session, open tabs, or Chrome extensions, OpenAI recommends using the Codex Chrome extension.

Lawyers remain responsible for privilege, confidentiality, jurisdiction, accuracy, and professional judgment.
7. Multiple Plugin Accounts and ChatGPT for Word Reduce Context Switching
ChatGPT now supports multiple accounts for compatible plugins across web, mobile, and desktop. That helps people who use separate personal, client, or company accounts, but it also increases the chance of acting in the wrong place. Name connections clearly and include the target account in every high-impact confirmation.
ChatGPT for Word places the assistant beside the document, making it easier to summarize, compare clauses, revise tone, and answer questions without repeatedly uploading versions. OpenAI lists it across all plans, including Free, with usage shared against the account's limits.
For contracts, policies, and regulated documents, use tracked changes, preserve the original, and review every accepted edit. A faster review surface is not an approval system.
