What I need from you
Your logo files (vector or high-res PNG) and a short brief on what the site needs to achieve. That's the minimum to get started. If you want specific photos, videos, or your own written content on the site, provide those files and I'll work them in. Sourcing or producing these assets (stock photography, copywriting) can be handled on my side without any extra cost.
Brand consultation
A working session to review your brand system: logo, fonts, colours, tone, example sites you admire and ones you do not. Even if you already have a brand, we align on how it translates to web.
Responsive design + build
A finished website in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. Hand-coded with AI assistance (Claude Code), not a template or site builder. Works on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
SEO baseline
Meta tags, Open Graph, JSON-LD schema, sitemap.xml, robots.txt, clean URLs, and Core Web Vitals optimisation. The kind of SEO plumbing most agencies charge extra for.
Contact form
A working PHP contact form with email delivery, anti-spam protection, and a branded confirmation email to the submitter. No third-party form service required.
Copywriting + copy review

Lo-fi wireframes of every page before any visual design starts. Fast iteration, no wasted pixels.

Visual design

High-fidelity design of the homepage plus 2-3 key inner pages. Approved before any code is written.

Build

Hand-coded build in HTML, CSS, PHP, JS with Claude Code as the development partner. Usually two to four weeks depending on page count.

FAQ

Before you book.

Do you use a framework like React or Next.js?

Not for marketing sites. Modern hand-coded HTML + CSS + vanilla JS is faster, simpler, and easier to maintain for the kind of brand-driven sites I build. It also ships without a build step, deploys anywhere, and has zero lock-in. For complex applications with dynamic UI I can work in React or Next.js, but it is a separate conversation.

What CMS will I use to update content?

Usually none. Most of my sites ship as flat PHP files with content stored directly in the templates. Updates happen by editing the files, either by me on a retainer, by you via a simple tutorial, or by any developer. For sites that genuinely need a CMS I integrate with a headless CMS like Directus or Prismic, but most clients find they do not need one.

How much does a website cost?

Scoped per project. A focused 5-page brand site typically runs €3,000 to €5,000. A larger site with 6-15 pages, blog, and multiple contact flows runs €6,000 to €9,000. Copywriting, SEO baseline, and a post-launch audit are included in every tier. Full pricing is on the services page. Every quote is fixed before work starts, with a clear scope document so there are no surprises.

Do you also write the copy?

Yes, copywriting is included. You can bring your own copy, give me a brief to write from, or hand me a rough draft to review. I handle the final polish either way, so the site reads as well as it looks.

Can you rebuild my existing WordPress site?

Yes. Migration from WordPress to hand-coded PHP is a common request, usually driven by performance, security, or cost reasons. I rebuild the site on modern HTML/CSS/PHP, preserve the URL structure with 301 redirects, and hand you a site that loads 3-10x faster and has no plugin update treadmill.
