Your Brand Name Is a Product Page Now: Create a Fact Card

Treat a brand-name search as a buyer's first briefing

A person searching your company name may be checking what you do, whether you serve them, and whether your work is credible. A public fact card brings those answers together and links each short statement to a detailed source. It should help a person verify the business in under a minute.

The title uses “product page” as a design analogy. A brand result is not literally a page you own. Ahrefs' October branded-search research gives a timely reason to inspect how public brand information is assembled. It does not establish that a fact card controls generated answers.

Choose facts that support a decision

Begin with six fields: official name and founder or responsible organisation; what the business does; who it serves; location and service area; public proof; and the official next step. Add scope boundaries where leaving them out would mislead someone.

A useful JQ AI SYSTEMS description can distinguish an assessment from tool setup and a custom automation build, then link to the relevant services. Avoid compressing those into “AI solutions for everyone.” The short card should preserve the decisions the detailed service pages help a customer make.

Give every field an owner, source URL, and review date in the internal working record. The public card needs readable facts and useful links, not the team's maintenance machinery. If a fact is conditional, put the condition beside it.

Write a compact card without flattening the offer

This fictional example illustrates the structure:

Northline Studio helps small service businesses clarify their brand and build a website that follows it. The studio is based in Porto and works remotely with approved clients in Portugal and the UK. Website work begins with a scope review. Branding, copy, and ongoing maintenance are separately agreed. See the current portfolio and contact the studio through its official enquiry page.

The example names a customer, delivery model, and boundary. Each statement would require evidence before a real business used it. “Based in Porto” should not imply that every job is delivered in person. “Works remotely” should not imply unlimited languages, markets, or support hours.

Keep stable identity separate from changing offers

The business name and founder identity may remain stable for years. Availability, packages, prices, and delivery times can change more often. Keep volatile details on the canonical service page and link to them rather than copying them into every public description.

For profiles with strict character limits, approve a short version that preserves the central identity and scope. For a directory with fixed fields, use the same approved facts adapted to that format. Consistency means agreement on facts; it does not require identical prose everywhere.

Ask whether the card answers a buyer's real questions

Give a reviewer the card and ask: What can I buy? Is this suitable for my business? Where can it be delivered? What evidence can I inspect? What happens after I make contact? Note unanswered questions before adding more marketing language.

A separate extraction test can ask an assistant to return those fields from the card, citing the visible text. That tests the clarity of the source you provided. An open-web query tests independent discovery and may return other information. Keep the results distinct.

My recommendation is to maintain the card as a short public entry point within the existing site architecture. A content system can manage its approved profile versions, while web design work ensures the full evidence remains easy to reach and read.

Common questions

What facts should appear when someone searches my company name?
Make the business identity, current services, intended customers, service area, evidence of work, and official contact routes easy to verify on public pages. Give changing facts a review date and link the short description to the detailed source.
Does this method guarantee AI search visibility?
No. This is a proposed editorial or operational method. Search indexing, citation, recommendation, and business outcomes depend on conditions outside the scope of this workflow.
